Choices in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs affect customer arcs, who may stay with you, achievements and the final outcome. Not every line is a route switch, but offers of help, trust decisions, invitations and the late Hashimoto decision deserve special attention.

How choices work

ReStory tracks relationships through conversations around the repair shop. A technically successful order can still lead to a different story result depending on what you say or whether you help. Consequences may appear several visits later rather than immediately.

Read the full exchange and consider what the customer is asking beyond the device. The game does not reduce every decision to an obvious good or bad label, so choose for the route you want instead of clicking through quickly.

Character routes can exclude one another

Personal paths involving Kaito, Baketsu and Haruhi compete for one houseguest route in a playthrough. Inviting one person can therefore close another option. Make that choice deliberately if you are planning achievements.

For Haruhi's path, not trusting the courier enables the later opportunity to offer her a place to stay. Complete her related tourist repair and speak to her after the final repair to continue that route.

The ending decision

Near the conclusion, Hashimoto's situation leads to a decision about the shop and the concert. Offering to sell the shop and donate the money supports Rock For The Ages. Refusing and allowing the mega mall plan to proceed leads to Globalization.

Create a backup before this decision if you want to see both outcomes without replaying the whole campaign. Do not overwrite the backup until each ending has loaded and its achievement state has been checked.

A safe choice-tracking method

  1. Record which customer route you intend to follow.
  2. Read every conversation before and after that customer's repairs.
  3. Note trust, free-help and invitation decisions.
  4. Back up before choosing a houseguest and before Hashimoto's finale.
  5. Use a separate run for mutually exclusive personal routes.

Avoid overreading ordinary dialogue

The existence of important decisions does not mean every response changes an ending. Focus on explicit help, trust and commitment moments, then watch the follow-up scene before recording the result in your route notes.

Best approach for a first run

Choose empathetic responses, complete customer repairs and follow up when characters return. This supports the game's narrative focus without requiring a spoiler checklist. For completion, use backups and separate route planning because one playthrough cannot safely be assumed to contain every branch.
