ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs officially lists minimum requirements for 64-bit Windows and Apple silicon macOS. Windows needs Windows 10 x64, a 2-core/4-thread CPU, 4 GB RAM, a GeForce GTX 750 Ti, DirectX 11 and 1 GB storage; macOS lists macOS 14, Apple M1, 8 GB RAM and 1 GB storage.
Windows minimum requirements
- Operating system: Windows 10 x64
- Processor: 2 cores / 4 threads
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 1 GB available space
These are minimums, not a promise that every background workload or display setting will run identically. Keep graphics drivers current and leave extra free disk space for Steam to unpack updates.
macOS minimum requirements
- Operating system: macOS 14
- Processor: Apple M1
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Storage: 1 GB available space
The official minimum identifies Apple M1 hardware. Compare the Mac you plan to use directly with the published minimum before purchasing.
Check your Windows PC
Open Settings → System → About to view Windows, processor and installed RAM. Run dxdiag to inspect the graphics adapter and DirectX support. Compare the dedicated GPU model carefully; a newer name does not always guarantee identical performance, especially on low-power laptops.
Confirm the Steam library drive has at least the listed space plus room for updates. If Windows is 32-bit, it does not meet the x64 requirement even when the processor itself supports 64-bit software.
Check your Mac
Choose About This Mac from the Apple menu. Confirm macOS 14 or newer, an Apple M1 or later Apple-silicon processor, at least 8 GB memory and enough storage.
Bottom line
The Windows baseline is specific: 64-bit Windows 10, 2 cores/4 threads, 4 GB RAM, GTX 750 Ti, DirectX 11 and 1 GB storage. Mac players need macOS 14, Apple M1, 8 GB RAM and 1 GB storage.
